Face Club is built so that the most personal thing it touches - your face - never leaves your control. Here’s exactly what happens, in plain language.
Your photo is analysed on your device
When you take a scan, the analysis runs in your browser, on your phone. The image is processed to produce a set of scores and is then discarded. We do not upload, store, or transmit your photo.
We keep scores, not images
To let you track change over time, your scan scores (things like texture and even tone) are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. Optionally, an anonymous device identifier and those scores may be synced to our database so your history survives across devices in future - never any image, and never anything that identifies you by name.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us so we can let you know when Face Club is ready. We don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Cosmetic, not medical
Face Club gives cosmetic, educational insights about your skin. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, detect, or assess any medical condition. For any health concern, please see a qualified practitioner.
Your controls
- • Clear your scan history any time from the progress screen.
- • Uninstall or clear your browser data to remove everything stored on your device.
- • Ask us to remove a waitlist signup or synced scores by emailing the address below.
